What is Boomerang?

The Boomerang is the student-run newspaper of University College Utrecht. It exists since 1998.

All articles in the Boomerang are written by and for the UCU community, with its seven-person board consisting of student volunteers. Boomerang articles cover a variety of topics, ranging from campus-related opinion pieces and investigative journalism, to student views on global events, and cultural phenomena. Illustrations and other visuals are also provided by the UCU community.

University College Utrecht is the International Honours College of the University of Utrecht (www.ucu.uu.nl). At UCU, academic and social life are closely intertwined to form a holistic international experience in which students are educated to become internationally engaged and critically-minded. All UCU students live together on the International Campus Utrecht, forming a close community that stays connected beyond graduation.
